BMW R60/5 Cafe Racer

Finally finished this bad boy.  This bike has a custom rear subframe, custom headlight mount, and a custom battery box.  Turn signals were replaced, custom paint job, and a custom leather seat.  Its tuned up and ready to get back to its owner.

Garage

Been getting more and more time lately to spend on getting my newest garage space set up for how i need it to work... got a wood stove put in... built the car port into a fully enclosed room.  Built a staircase up into the attic, and am starting to build a workbench/wall o tools... 

Bmw Cafe

Got a few hours into making this rear tail section for this BMW cafe bike.  Ive been staring at parts and pieces of metal to make a custom tail.  Cut up and old gas tank, and hand hammered the halves to fit.  Have to patch the rear, and mount a bmw emblem.  Then i want to see if the battery will fit inside the tail itself.  Few more hours hammering and finishing and it will be time to cut the rear section.

Here is roughly how the tail will sit.  Still need to make a new seat pan and do some more fitting.

Got to work stripping this bmw down... Got most of what i need to do figured out.  Just have to work out the specifics and start....  Did a little spit polish and sand on the valve covers.  Lookin good.... just need more hours.

BMW R60/5 Project

Just picked this up the other day.  Building it into a cafe racer for a local customer... Ive wanted one of these for a long time, but it will be just as fun putting it together for someone else...
