Weekend Work

Blasted out some stuff this weekend... Finished up a set of wheel spacers for a buddys Ironhead Chopper.  Got all the last bits of the KZ750 twin 1-2 intake manifolds sorted and they are ready to put in the store.

Wrenched on the shovelhead some more... Did some more timing tuning and carb tuning on it.  Still need to change to a hotter plug and maybe go down a size on the main jet... After that it should be ready to rip all summer... Hopefully it makes it to the winter so i can tear it down proper...

I also got the bmw r60 into the studio and got some great shots of it... Stay tuned for the photo set when its finished...

BMW R60/5 Cafe Racer

Finally finished this bad boy.  This bike has a custom rear subframe, custom headlight mount, and a custom battery box.  Turn signals were replaced, custom paint job, and a custom leather seat.  Its tuned up and ready to get back to its owner.

I have had some time off from the day job, so ive been working in the shop and getting everything running smoother.  Been doing some half assed construction to get the workspace finished for the time being.

I also got to spend alot of time on the bmw cafe bike ive been working on for close to a year...   Here is a little sneak peak, until i get some proper photos taken...

Got some cool Limeted Edition Bonanza and Gringo helmets, as well as some grips, seats, bubble visors, and some other things you might need for your ride.

BMW Cafe Racer

Spent the last couple days working on a solution for a headlight mount for the BMW.  The stock mounts slid over the fork and set the headlight really high up.  I made some brackets that bolted to the bottom of the handle bar risers.  Then i bent and welded some steel tube to wrap around the headlight.  There is a stock bar around the headlight, so i tried to make the new mount match this...
