Im Back Baby!

Ive been spending most of my time the past couple years posting and showcasing work on Instagram.  Due to the toxic nature and state of the platform I am planning on shifting most of my content to this blog.  Instagram's algorithm, and the fact that you have to pay to get people to see your posts has led me to conclude that the platform is dead.  Since I was last posting about my race bike, here are a couple photos of the state that its in now.

Cheers!

Wes

Counter Balance Cycles Shop Apron!

This is the first shop apron that I will have for sale.  Each one is handmade and unique.  This one is made from heavy canvas and waxed with otter wax.  The pockets are heavy weight black rawhide leather.  Pockets are double stitched and reinforced with antique brass rivets.  It uses a swivel trigger snap to secure the leather waistband, and has a leather neck loop.... All brass rivet reinforced.  Each apron is hand made and unique.

Suzuki GS 750 Brattracker

Got some time to bang out some stuff on the Suzuki GS this weekend.  Got the new rear hoop made and cleaned up.  Got a seat pan made with mounts welded.  Finished mounting the rear fender.  While I was working on foaming and shaping the seat, Lisa took to the gas tank and stripped most all the paint off of it.  Its gonna get a brushed metal finish with some clear coat.  And nursed a little hangover on Sunday while chaining myself to my sewing machine for half the day...

Get some pics of the seat on the bike later...
