Some more work i did to my footpegs and brake pedal.  Also got a different oil filter and relocated it to behind the transmission...

xs 650 Brat Tracker

I spent a couple hours adjusting a few things on the bike after some shakedown time.  Wanted to get out before dark, but had to try and take some photos in the conditions...

This winter has got me creepin... took a few snaps and got some work done today...

More Brat Stuff

 Went through my first 80lb argon tank... getting better by the day...

 While i have the motor out of the xs 650 Ive been trying to clean it all up.  Got some clear header paint to clear coat the pipes.  And gave the motor a good coat of high temp paint as well... Lookin pretty clean...

 Few more bits got painted... pretty well set to put the motor back in a get everything back together... Just another batch of stuff to clear and everything should be ready...

 

Took the harley out today too... close to 50 degrees here on friday.  It was a wet and messy ride but overdue... cant wait for spring... 

Brat Style

Got most of the major parts painted over the past week or so.  Got some time during the blizzard to start putting a few things together...   Got most of the rolling chassis together. Just waiting on a few more things to paint and i should be able to drop the motor back in.  Just need to order a new chain and I should have everything i need...

Paints

Ive been trying to catch up on all the projects I started in the fall now that it is the dead of winter... Got the harley back together and all i have to do is paint the tins and it should be ready to go...

Started simplifying the wiring on the Kawasaki.  Just need to make some mounts on the battery box to hold all of the electronicals.

Also got the main frame parts of the brat style bike primed/painted/and cleared this weekend.  One more batch of stuff to paint and it should be ready to put back together.  Also was going to make this bike on the cheap, but decided to at least replace some parts that are necessary so I ordered some new needle head bearings, and some new bronze swingarm bushings... By next week I should be able to put everything back together and figure out what paint scheme im going to use on the tins...

Brat Bike Tear Down

Well it started snowing and got pretty cold here over the past week or so.  Time to buy some paint and tear down the Bratty Yamaha to finish it.  Got bored saturday night and tore everything off of the frame.  Finished a couple of welds for some mounts, and drilled some holes to mount the coil properly.  Amazing that an entire bike will fit on a small table...

Gonna be alot of grinder work and painting over the next week or so... should be fun...
